News:

Next week we are celebrating Read Across America Week and celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday! As part of our Read Across America celebration, we are welcoming guest readers into our classroom throughout the week! If you or someone you know (grandma, grandpa, neighbor, friend, doctor, librarian, etc!) would like to come and read a story to our kindergarten classes, please see the Classroom Clipboard in the morning!

It is Kindergarten Assessment Week! You received a note on your child's Homework Folder last week with your child's day to stay. Please remember to send a lunch (we will be eating together in the classroom) and pick up from the classroom at 1:00 on this day. There is NO TUTORING THIS WEEK! Thank you for your support! Our second round of parent conferences will be shortly after Spring Break. I am looking forward to meeting with all of your again soon and discussing your child's amazing growth from the past few months!

There will be no RAZ books or fluency  coming home this week, due to assessments. We will not be getting new RAZ books in reading groups, but students will continue to self-select library books that they would like to take home.

Continue to work on your community service projects. These will be due at the end of May. Please see me if you have any questions. OUR TWO WEEK SPRING BREAK COMING UP IS THE PERFECT TIME TO WORK ON THESE PROJECTS!!
