Homework: May 2

READING:

• STUDY FLASHCARDS EVERY DAY!!!! New Sight Words: MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER, BROTHER, FAMILY.
• Read ENTIRE Book Bag - AR books AND fluency stories.
• RAZ-KIDS reading online.
• Initial the Reading Log.

WRITING:

• Sharing - Write three or more sentences about ways to show discretion. Draw a picture to go with your sentences. Sharing is due any day this week.
• Step Up To Writing - Choose a topic sentence, three main ideas, details, and a conclusion sentence. Draw a picture to go with your writing. Due Friday.
• Fictional Story - We have been working on writing fiction (make-believe) stories. Use your imagination to think of characters for your story. Make sure your story has a beginning, middle, and end. 
• Spelling - Take a practice spelling test on Thursday to prepare for your Friday test!

MATH: 

•  Excel Math - We are back to only ONE Excel worksheet a day. Complete the homework portion of the worksheet to turn in the next day. Please also take the time to review any problems/mistakes that are circled on the Guided Practice side. These circled problems will show you what concepts your child may need to work on at home. 

Homework due Friday. Please remember to write your name on the Reading Log and staple that to the front of homework. Thank you!
